True Quality, Desert Code and Bsharpsonata

Woodford raised True Quality was an impressive winner of the Grade 2 General George Handicap at Laurel this weekend. He stamped himself as one of the leading sprinters in the nation with a dominant victory over Grade 1 winner Fabulous Strike. He was purchased as a yearling by Buzz Chace, agent for long time client Ernie Paragello. They are hopeful (as we are) that he can become the next Artax. So far so good!

At Santa Anita millionaire Desert Code was an impressive winner of the Grade 3 Daytona Handicap. This was his first race since his terrific victory in the Breeders Cup Turf Sprint. He is a lovely horse and Woodford Thoroughbreds will be excited to offer his full sister at auction this year.

Bsharpsonata ran a great race in the Grade 2 La Canada. She was in front at the 16th pole and was just caught late by Life Is Sweet and Magical Fantasy. She is very gutsy and just found the distance a little too far. She stays in California for the moment and may head to New York for a summer campaign.
