Elusive Heat ran a cracker in the Grade 3 Old Hat Stakes on January 4th at Gulfstream Park. She got a 103 in her blowout maiden victory on October 12th at Belmont. This was her first start since then and she was unlucky to come up with a nose defeat to Gemswick Park. She really looks like a special filly and looks a lot like her champion mother. Xtra Heat has now had 3 stakes horses from 3 runners with 2 of then Graded stakes horses.
