In a very tough economic market Woodford and Cloverleaf stock sold very well. The highlights were the sale of Grade 1 winner and producer Zoftig (dam of 2008 Grade 1 winner Zaftig) at Fasig-Tipton to Live Oak Stud, and at Keeneland the sale of Apasionata Sonata (dam of top 3 year old Bsharpsonata) to S.K.A.S. Both mares realised final bids of $1.5 million. Woodford was also responsible for the top priced weanling colt by Bernardini. He is a half brother to Champion 3 year old Banshee Breeze and he realised a final bid of $360,000 from John Ferguson.
